Each of the four evangelists presents a different view of Jesus' Passion and Resurrection. In this four part series, we studied the Passion and Resurrection stories in each of the four gospels, exploring how each evangelist's narrative fit the theology and plan of his gospel.
Our primary references were the two booklets by New Testament scholar Fr. Raymond E. Brown, A Crucified Christ in Holy Week. Essays on the Four Gospel Passion Narratives, and A Risen Christ in Eastertime, Essays on the Gospel Narratives of the Resurrection.
Presentations by the Linda Monyak (Mark), Rev. Marilyn Baldwin (Matthew), Melanie Lee (Luke), and Kathy Smith (John).
