Season of Epiphanies

In the season of Epiphany, we celebrate a series of epiphanies -- manifestations or revelations of God to the world, including:

God become human in infant Jesus, adored by the Magi from the nations of the Gentile world,
Jesus' baptism, revealing the Trinity, and Jesus as the Messiah,
The Miracle at Cana, the first of Jesus's signs, revealing his glory
The Transfiguration, Jesus revealed as the Son of God.

In this session, we explored the season of Epiphany (or Theophany as it is called in the Eastern Church): its origin, themes, hymns, prayers, and customs.

Presentation was by David Monyak.
